April 15th, the HiChain Foundation (HiChain) Project Launch conference was successfully held at the Suntec Exhibition Center in Singapore. Invited guests came from Singapore and around the world to attended. Attendees were well-represented professionals in such sectors as technology, social networking platforms, blockchain, and content creation.
Dr. Julian Chang, Partner of HiChain Foundation, introduced HiChain and the project development plans in details at the conference.
He stressed that in the Web 3.0 era, content, knowledge and wealth will be greatly magnified, and centralized platforms will turn into Service Providers instead of Rule Makers as they are now. Dr. Chang further stated that HiChain, as a decentralized social networking platform, will be more open and inclusive. HiChain will also provide the underlying service platform for the users, content creators, and transactions that take place on social networking sites and communities. Dr. Chang believes that HiChain’s development will be based on technology and social communities as the core, ensuring that the rights and interests of all stakeholders in the ecology are not infringed, so that every member becomes a part of the main body of the platform.
During the Panel Discussion, guest panelists actively discussed the development and trends of the social networking platform of the Web 3.0 era.
Zhu Hongbing, President of the Singapore Blockchain Technology Foundation, believes blockchain technology will empower social platforms to develop into much higher quality and greater communities, with HiChain being a potential leader in the industry by leveraging its 150 million user base. Aly Madhavji, managing partner of Blockchain Founders Fund, also stated that it is all about having a laser focus on what your users want and quickly adapting based on usage patterns and consumer behavior. This is critical for generating traction which can have exponential benefits based on network effects.
HiChain is a digital content asset platform based on blockchain technology with original content and knowledge sharing as the core. It is also the next generation decentralized stranger social network platform. HiChain is committed to building a global ecosystem that enables users to create communities based on creative content and shared interests, and empowering various stakeholders to construct a new paradigm for one of the world’s first and largest social networking applications in the Web 3.0 era.
